Tips for parents
- Ask your child to tell you the story in three sentences before answering. Retelling builds comprehension faster than rereading.
- When they miss a vocabulary question, have them find the word in the passage and guess its meaning from the sentences around it.
- Let them use the read-aloud button freely. Hearing fluent reading while following the text is real practice, not a shortcut.
