Learning Camp (“Learning Camp,” “we,” “us”) is a learning app for children in grades 1–5, operated by Trellis Works LLC. We built Learning Camp to be safe for kids: we collect as little as possible, we do not show ads, and we never sell your data. This policy explains what we collect and why. It is written for parents and guardians, who create and control every account.
Learning Camp is intended for use in the United States. We do not target or knowingly serve users outside the U.S.
Only a parent or guardian can create an account and set up a child profile. Children use the app under the account and supervision of that parent or guardian. Children cannot sign up on their own, cannot enter free-form text (names, messages, or chat), and cannot reach billing or account settings, which sit behind a parent PIN.

We do notcollect a child's birthdate, full name, photo, address, phone number, precise location, or any contact information for the child.
Learning Camp complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because a parent or guardian creates the account, sets up the child profile, and (for paid plans) completes a payment, we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting the limited information described above. As the parent, you can review your child's information, ask us to delete it, and refuse further collection at any time by deleting the child profile or your account, or by contacting us. We collect only information reasonably necessary for the activity and never condition participation on disclosing more than is needed.
We advertise Learning Camp to parents on Facebook and Instagram. To see which ads lead to sign-ups, our public pages for grown-ups (the home page and the practice-by-grade pages, plus a short page shown right after sign-up) use the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta that a browser visited those pages or completed parent sign-up (it is not loaded on the sign-up or sign-in forms and never receives your email or password), and Meta may use its cookies to match that to a Meta account. It is never loaded in the kids' area or the parent dashboard, and it never receives a child's name, answers, or any other child information. You can limit this with your browser's cookie settings or Meta's ad preferences.
We share data only with vendors that help us run the app, under their own security and privacy obligations:
We keep account and child information while your account is active. When you delete a child profile, all of that child's data is permanently removed. When you delete your account, your parent record and every associated child profile and record are permanently removed. We may retain limited billing records where required by law.
We use encryption in transit, hashed parent PINs, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above, and where appropriate notify parents by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
